A new adventure begins!

We are pleased to present our new school: EIB de la Jonchère.

We have created an international, innovative, and environmentally friendly private Primary school. Nestled in a beautiful green setting between la Celle-Saint-Cloud and Bougival, the campus of EIB de la Jonchère is very close to Versailles, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, La Défense, and just 30 minutes away from Paris.

This beautiful site offers a unique learning environment for our students: several hectares of school grounds, three sports fields, an indoor pool, a large multipurpose hall, a Centre for Arts and Culture, and four buildings with classrooms equipped with the latest technology.

Guide, Encourage, Thrive

EIB de la Jonchère offers its students a bilingual curriculum (French and English) that is fully in line with the programmes set out in the French state education system. Our objective is to make sure that our students are immersed in two different cultures from a very young age. Our educational offering is centred on personal guidance, academic excellence and rigour, and the perfect mastering of languages: commitments that have characterised EIB for over 60 years and have been the key to its success. Every year, our students are admitted to the best universities in the world. Our school also attaches particular importance to the arts and culture, sports and new technology.

We strive for the academic success of our students and their personal fulfilment. EIB is a real community within which we hope that each child and family will find its place.

We are looking forward to welcoming you at EIB de la Jonchère and to start this new adventure together.

A 100% BILINGUAL CURRICULUM

In LINE WITH THE FRENCH STATE EDUCATION SYSTEM

Since EIB was founded in 1954, we have developed a unique approach with innovative teaching methods, especially in the field of languages, in order to give our school a truly international dimension, which we are proud of today.

EIB de la Jonchère offers a private bilingual education that respects the official programmes in the French state education system. From “Petite Section” to CM2, half of the curriculum at EIB de la Jonchère is taught in English and half is taught in French in order to ensure that our students become bilingual.

TEACHING METHODS

THOROUGH, YET CARING

The intellectual development of our students and the acquisition of basic skills is a priority. Learning how to read and write is achieved through proven methods, as is done at EIB Lamartine and EIB Monceau. Our teachers are trained in cognitive science in order to promote students’ attention, active engagement, questioning and a deepening of their understanding. Finally, we encourage innovation: our students learn through play, discovery and investigation. This reinforces positive relationships between students and teachers.

Our goal is to foster an environment that encourages learning, creativity, solidarity and collaborative work. In our new school, students benefit from reduced class sizes that are fully dedicated to learning English or French. Working in small groups helps to develop children’s critical thinking, their role within a group and team work. In keeping with this spirit of mutual respect and in order to develop a sense of belonging, the students at EIB de la Jonchère wear a uniform.
